Ayrton Senna – The 1993 McLaren, His Final Season, Drawn by Hand
The 1993 Formula 1 season was Ayrton Senna’s last. Driving the McLaren MP4/8 with a customer Ford V8 engine — at a disadvantage against the dominant Williams-Renault — he still managed to win five races through sheer genius. The final one came at the Australian Grand Prix in Adelaide, his 41st and last Formula 1 victory. Six months later, he was gone. The 1993 McLaren livery — Marlboro red and white, the number 8, the most famous helmet in motorsport — is one of the most iconic images in the history of the sport.
This handmade illustration is a tribute to the greatest, in his final season.
