The Toyota GT-One TS020 is one of the most spectacular racing cars of the 1990s. Powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6-litre V8 producing over 600 horsepower, it was built to challenge the very best at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 1999, with victory seemingly within reach, a puncture robbed the team of the lead with just one lap remaining — one of the most heartbreaking moments in Le Mans history. It never won. But it never needed to. The GT-One remains one of the most beautiful and technically extraordinary prototypes ever to race at La Sarthe.
